Hi there! I just happened across your 7th house Lilith post asking people about their experiences with this placement! I’m writing you here because I see the replies are restricted. I love that you asked about this, because I could say so much about my experiences with having a 7th house Libra Lilith. First off, I just wanna note I found it very interesting you asked if people with this placement get people trying to put the “mean girl” narrative on them. I do find pretty often that people do not read my energy as warm and inviting (not sure if they see it as “mean” per se, but I think I can seem intimidating or unfriendly). I’ve attributed that to other things in my chart, but maybe Lilith is involved too!

Anyway, for me, my 7th house Lilith in Libra has been a double edged sword in my life that has protected me from getting involved with actually toxic people, while it’s also caused me to sabotage positive relations in the past. I associate Lilith, along with my 8th house Pluto squaring my Venus and Mars, for why I’ve feared dependence with someone, and have actually been hyper-independent, living alone now for all of my adulthood. But the South Node in Libra currently transiting my Lilith seems to be helping do away with my instincts to sabotage my relationship (I’m in a committed one now, for the first time in years) whenever my partner expresses a grievance. You see, I used to believe I could only ever bring bad things to another person’s life, so a simple expression of someone not being happy with one little thing in our relationship could activate my trauma response to sabotage the entire relationship.

So for me, Lilith in 7th house and Libra has had a definite connection to my hyper-independence, my beliefs I am starting to overcome that I could only be toxic for a partner, and also the fact that I have been able to walk out on problematic people without feeling conflicted about it!

People I've met who has almost similar aspects, i would have to say you probably definitely give a rather cut-throat vibes in a competitive way especially in areas that youre passionate about. thanks to this, now i can see how the impression within that 7th house lilith is definitely strongly attributed to personal aspects.

hyper-independence is such a common theme I see in lilith in the 7th house, yet its also so contradictory to how the individual could be in a relationship which is absolutely dependent on their partner without realising. i guess personally for me, that's how I interpret your fear of only capable of being toxic to your partner. as an individual, you feel almost kind of invincible that you could do anything on your own and you are completely content with it. however, there's also that little desire in wanting a partnership but its knowing damn well of the insecurity and your worse traits coming out as a partner out of your control.

i also definitely agree with the blessing in disguise of being able to walk out on problematic relationship without hesitation. from a personal experience, i never found it hard to completely cut people out when i decide im done with them. it's to a point where i remove any traces of them in my life and as if they had never existed. this strong sense of self control and boundaries has definitely helped me in many ways than others.

5 Things Steph likes about Grace:

1. Her tooth gap. Steph thinks it's such a cute feature on Grace, somehow making her smiles even brighter.

2. Grace's enthusiasm. Steph really likes seeing Grace be passionate about things, even if it's not always a topic Steph is necessarily interested in she'll always make sure to try her best to listen, though unfortunately her mind tends to wander often (ADHD Steph cough cough).

3. A little similar to the previous one, but Grace's determination. She's very persistent with the things she wants, going to great lengths to achieve those goals. Steph sometimes thinks that Grace's ideas are a little... far fetched, to say the least, but she's always supportive :]

4. The fact Grace does arts & crafts. It's usually small things like making bracelets or sewing patches and embroidering onto things. For example, the strawberries on the bottom of Grace's jeans. Steph has a small collection of bracelets Grace has gifted her over time. She doesn't wear them too often, but they hold a special place in Stephanie's heart.

5. Her organization skills. Steph would've probably lost her earbuds, her favorite hoodie and her English notebook months ago if it weren't for Grace, making sure they never leaves anything behind and that everything ends up nice and tidy. Steph can't even count how many times she was looking for something and a few seconds later a slightly smug Chasity pops up with an item in her hand, going "Were you looking for this?"

5 Things Grace likes about Stephanie:

1. Grace admires how laid back and nonchalant Steph can be. Grace can't imagine just, not caring about things, so whenever Steph shrugs things off Grace is genuinely very impressed and even a little jealous.

2. Stephanie's style. As much as Grace might've argued that it's "sinful" or "unholy" to wear 'revealing' clothing or put on makeup, she has now somewhat come to terms with the fact that Steph is gorgeous, and there's really hardly any point in denying it. The way Steph puts together outfits that are casual, yet all the small details in them come together so beautifully.

3. Her humor and jokes. Laughing comes so naturally to Grace when she's around Steph, small and seemingly insignificant comments that Steph says make Grace burst into a fit of giggles. There are some jokes that Grace would deem inappropriate, putting on a stern face and gently scolding Steph. But Steph notices Grace trying to stifle that giggle, and she just looks too adorable to ignore.

4. Steph's confidence. The way she's so self-assured in her words and actions, smooth talking her way in and out of things. Sure, Grace is also confident (although some would just call it being stubborn) but Steph just has that extra charm when she speaks, her voice sounding sweet as honey in Grace's ears.

5. This is a very simple one, but how warm Stephanie is (body temperature wise). I think Grace (like me hehe) always has cold hands. She doesn't really notice it but people always comment on it whenever they feel her hands. Stephanie on the other hand is almost always warm and you'll probably hear her bitching complaining about the heat if the AC in the class is broken. Grace loves clinging close to Steph on cold winter days and Steph loves putting Grace's hands on her face to cool off a little when it's super hot outside :3

Can you talk more about aries mercury? so...not the fool card? Even though they don't "think things through" before speaking? It seems to me aries in mercury is either over-emotional, too forward, too logical, too passionate and so many contradictory things all at once. I would REALLY love to hear what you think about that. Please.

Btw, Capricorn Mercury seems to be the most 'useful' mercury in terms of external/social benefits, in the sense that they have a constant filter that makes them gain respect by others easily. I don't necessarily like their minds to be honest, and they're generally not interested in lots of topics but I have to recognise how handy it could come to people who don't get to wish to discuss/delve deeper in various topics.

I have multiple cap mercuries in my life btw including friends, colleagues and my dear mother with whom--even though she's a Gemini Moon--barely manages to have hobbies of her own or participate in games.

I feel like cap mercury is perfect on the outside, but overly influenced by society's standards, rules and appearance on the inside bc of that filter. Like they don't really "think for themselves"? They're much more focused on appearances than on the content of a text, speech and mercury matters.

let's start with aries mercury- in my experience, people with aries mercury aren't necessarily impulsive when it comes to their thoughts or how they talk, unless the rest of the chart says otherwise (mercury square mars especially could do this imo)

my mom has her mercury in 25° aries (so an aries degree) and she's like 99% fire with a cap rising that doesn't do a whole lot bc it's SUUUUUPER intercepted by aquarius- Like literally her whole 1st house is engulfed by aquarius but her asc line is in cap so 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫

she's the perfect example of an aries mercury in my opinion- she literally Cannot sit still for longer than like. an hour at best. even my gemini finds it slightly annoying but i just follow her around whenever we're talking 😭😭😭

she also has her sun and venus both in aries (venus conjunct mercury) so she's very aries dominant, and she's not very confrontational or impulsive at all- she's not really quick to anger either like stereotypical aries is, but she is pretty easily irritated id say 😵‍💫

in terms of mercury specifically, you can just See the aries influence in like everything she does- her organization isn't the neatest, but she has to have everything put away otherwise she'll lose her mind and she literally can't focus until the kitchen is clean or something-

shockingly, where my gemini will get incredibly confused and overwhelmed, her aries will come in clutch- a good example of this is a while ago we were playing fallout 76 and if u dont know, in that game u have a stash box with limited storage capacity and it's inevitable that it'll fill up eventually so u have to get rid of a whole bunch of stuff to bring it back down-

i literally got so overwhelmed by that to the point of tears and my dad tried to help (his mercury is in taurus btw) and he literally couldn't bc i refused to open up to him tbh- so he went and got my mom and just her Being in the same Room with me got my mercury to sort its shit out- like she saw everything so clearly and directly, very aries, whereas i was overwhelmed by all the details, very gemini.

awsten is pretty similar, he's got adhd (same 😵‍💫) and talks pretty fast but his pace seems a little closer to a gemini mercury. it's slightly slower most of the time but the speed at which he talks and thinks seems to vary based on what he's talking about.

jonathan is very cap coded to me with the way he talks, and im silly for him rn so i have done extensive research 💔💔💔 But he seems very methodical, yet playful with how he talks and thinks- methodical but you can tell his brain is fully capable of that uranus level speed at the same time 😭😭😭

i think overall cap mercuries absolutely depend on the rest of the chart bc if u saw my beef with earth signs post (or newsletter!!), u'll have seen where i said earth placements are outlines waiting to be colored in by the rest of the chart-

so if someone has too many earth placements or like- a taurus-influenced cap mercury, i can Absolutely see how they could be someone who doesn't seem to think for themselves, or even thinks too Much about themselves-

i also think the smaller range of interests could actually make sense for a cap mercury because saturn is very much about mastery, so the mercury, unless influenced by another element that says otherwise, would hyperfixate on one thing until it masters it instead of a gemini or aries mercury which is more jack of all trades.

number one. he is such a know it all. he constantly acts like hes better than other people and is so SO condensing whenever someone struggles with something that he knows how to do well. he's just such an asshat when he seems someone that he could HELP. "a toddler could do that-" yeah idia, you know what else a baby could do? run a lap without wheezing and keeling over.

number two. he is so ungrateful whenever people do stuff for him. the ghost marriage event highlighter that about him because for fucks sakes these people tried to save your stupid ass life and all you could do was berate them. ok die then! they came here for YOU. how DARE you talk to them like that.

number THREE. he insults the hell out of rollo for his "lets get rid of magic plan" and berates him for it when their trauma is so similar and they could have had a genuine conversation, but also hey idia you FUCKING HYPOCRITE, you tried to TAKE OVER THE FUCKING WORLD FOR YOUR BROTHER. first first first!! the thing that made me gasp the softest gasp i have ever gasped in my life when i first saw it...his pink hair. its a bit superficial i guess but now that i like idia i think he's stunning. he's so hauntingly beautiful, especially when he's just a little bit flustered and the tips of his hair turn pink. what i would do to see his whole head turn pink PLEASE.

i also think his smile is so silly, even though it's usually accompanied by his smug ass voice "should'a leveled up more!" SHUT UP!!!!! i love his sharp teeth theyre so goofy nd silly but in a cute way. honestly i think his scowl is cute too, idk maybe i just like his lips but watching them twist up in annoyance when he rolls his eyes is attractive to me dont ask i dont know either. does that say something about me? maybe. i'm content with not knowing.

onto less superficial things...i just finished reading book six yesterday and it struck me how idia's heart is genuinely so beautiful. he loves so gently and fully, but with devotion that would destroy the world if he let it loose. being loved and treasured by idia is a privilege, because once he lets you in he would do anything for you (just dont fuck it up or i will beat you up im being so serious LEAVE HIM ALONE)

the extent to which he cares for ortho is so beautiful and so heartbreaking. "leave it to your big bro" im dead. everything he does is for ortho to have a safe and fulfilling life and honestly...it kind of seems like idia is trying to pay ortho back in a sense? like you died (because of me), now i will spend the rest of my life mourning you as punishment. he wants to give him the best life possible and thats just so ourgourgouhgohou,,,, his grieving is so complex and yet its so simple. heartbreaking i tell you.

on a lighter note, he's very passionate about the things he's into as well. one thing about figuring our how to like idia was turning my reaction to his condescending jabs from "oh he's such a know it all bitch what the hell people are literally just indulging in his interests what is wrong with him?" TO "oh he's just excited and getting an adrenaline rush, it's going to his head. he's happy. :)" and that was absolutely growth on my part because. ok AUBURN LORE TIME but i used to have a friend who was very condescending and a HUGE know it all (irl IRL IRL) and i think they definitely impacted how i saw idia because i saw bits of them in him. and since they hurt me so much i projected my experiences with them onto idia, so the first time i met him in game i wrote him off immediately and hated him after i saw what he said to others and how he acted.

but one of the many problems with that approach was that i missed the gentler sides of him. the way he goes back to school for ortho. the way he powers through the masquerade social for ortho. his idea of yuu being "valuable emotional support." his love of cats, regardless of how bad he scared grim. his love of star rogue and the way he made the sequel actually happen, albiet unintentionally. i spent so much time resenting him because "of course he's just another one of those." that i didn't stop to notice anything about him except for those bad moments. and of course, i'm not ignoring them now, i just see them differently. i see him differently.

of course i love that he's relatable, and that he's smart, and i love how when he's comfortable he loses his filter and becomes idia shroud instead of just being Scared of them, but i think that's just. social anxiety. and yk what ive said this before but even when i hated him i would NOT stand for anyone coming for his anxiety. like yeah i hate idia shroud but BITCH GET AWAY FROM HIM. i read chapters 1-5 (half way into 6) last night and here are my initial thoughts:

i loved !! the writing…the way u write hadrian is so fun and i like the contrast to harry bc,, harry is an absolute slob compared to hadrian and he's so fun to read!1!! i love the choice of having him go to beauxbatons and i'm just imagining him in the uniform bc its so pretty.

IDK what you meant by "forgive the first lot of chapters and their quality" because its really good !! the only qualm i have is that the setting is a lot to take in for the first two chapters. i've actually had a hand @ it before and i was a little overwhelmed with the world (i wasn't truly ready at that time for its sheer magnitude of magnificence) and i wasn't dedicated to starting it off so !! i'm glad i gave it another try.

i really like the characters & ur ocs ! jacob and hadrians fwb relationship is really fun and so is his banter w raina.. i like claire so far and i do hope to see more of her !!1!!! which im guessing is the case for all of them. . hopefully. (am i attempting at foreshawdowing my predictions in ur own fanfic?) it physically. hurts me. to read hadrian not open up to jacob because of lily and his situation in general….. which slides me into the next topic i'm talking about.

lily gives me. extreme iffy vibes like,, not 'i want to punch her in the face' but its still wrong. her parenting gives off a lot of 'raising a soldier' vibes imo and its bad,, hadrian shows it by not opening up at all like i said earlier. i've seen a few responses & asks about it on your blog so i assume it'll be something that'll be addressed later on in the fic. i do think that she's a good step forward from the dursleys, however, still not perfect. + i think harry would have had a lot more passion for studying /learning (like hadrian) and learning knowledge if he hadn't lived in a household where they shut him down whenever he asked questions/had curiosity about something

there's a lot of plot questions with voldemort and the triwizard tournament etc that i have and i hope to see being answered later on!! like the year the tournament is set in (was the year harry turning 17 intentional?) etc etc. i have bets that hadrian's 'blank paper' trick is going to backfire. hard. and he's going to be the champion for beauxbatons etc etc last id like to say (chapter 6): i like how you had harry & hermione meet each other !! they are full on interrogating istg and its so fun.. i wonder if ron will appear ?? i have guesses he probably wont because ron is extremely average from an objective standpoint. anyway !! im very hooked into the fic and hope u have a great day :>>> i probably wont say something as huge as this next time i check in because this was just.. first impression thoughts and ALOT !!

Oooh this was so fun to read! Though I will admit I was struggling to remember what happened in chapters 1 - 6. That was so long ago in my memory! 🤣

I'm very eager to see how your thoughts on characters or events change as you go - it's making me really nostalgic in a way. And some of the things you've picked up on are making me clap my hands in excitement because ~foreshadowing~ and I'm insanely proud that I managed to keep the plot on track enough that even elements from those first chapters end up paying off down the track!
